Arizona Shooting of January, 2011
No private individual should be allowed to own hand guns. Guns should be owned only by the military and the police. Ownership of military type rifles, machine guns, or other weapons used for mass killing or items such as armour piercing bullets, rocket launchers, etc. should be banned to the ordinary citizen.
We fear terrorists coming from other countries and enact stringent security measures to exclude them. Yet we have our own, well-armed, Christian, Caucasian, terrorists here already as evidenced by such random acts of lethal violence as we saw in Arizona. Without access to guns, these heinous crimes could not be committed.
